Shri Kailash Chandra Joshi 

was born on July 14, 1929 at a place called Hatpipalya in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh, he was educated in Dewas, since childhood he was interested in social service. Along with getting education, you got painted to bring change in the condition of the downtrodden and exploited sections of the society and the landless farmers.

In 1953, after entering politics through Bharatiya Jana Sangh, he started working day and night to reach the voice of the helpless sections of the society, farmers and downtrodden to the government. To solve the problems of those people, he earned enough popularity by leading in local and state-wide movements through Jansangh. Backward people and rural brothers honored him considering him as the messiah.

Shri Kailash Joshi believed more in doing than telling. That's why it is very popular in rural areas, especially among the farming community. The proof of his popularity is that he has been continuously elected to the Vidhan Sabha from the same constituency Bagli in Madhya Pradesh. Since 1962, Shri Kailash Joshi, who has won 8 consecutive times from Bagli constituency, created a record by getting elected from the same constituency.

Shri Kailash Joshi proved the party organization paramount by winning the assembly elections and staying out of power, which is a message for the young generation. In 1990, you were the state's industries and energy minister and for the first time initiated the scheme of private investment in the energy sector. You lost the 1998 assembly elections from Bagli by a few votes. You took the responsibility of National Kisan Morcha. You were elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2001. He was the Chairman of the Commerce Committee in the Rajya Sabha for two consecutive terms.

Looking at your potential, the party nominated you as the state in-charge of Chhattisgarh. Later, using your capacity at the national level, Mr. Kailash Joshi was also nominated as the National President of the Disciplinary Committee.

Nominated State President of Bharatiya Janata Party in 2002, Bharatiya Janata Party formed a strong government with a three-fourth majority in the 2003 assembly elections, celebrating the historic victory. And in 2004 he was elected Member of Parliament from Bhopal constituency. and was also elected in 2009
